Most of the machine floor is Watson. Over 50 pieces, plate loaded and pin loaded, spanning chest, back, shoulders, quads, hamstrings, glutes, arms and calves. Watson is built in England, costs a multiple of what a typical commercial machine costs, and most lifters in this area have only seen one in a training video. Having a full floor of them, including the Animal series, is the single most unusual thing about this gym.
Around the Watson sit the other names people look for. Prime, with the multi rung adjustment that lets you change the strength curve mid set. Panatta for the power smith and t-bar row. Arsenal and Cimerian plate loaded pieces. Hammer Strength iso lateral presses. Nautilus, Cybex, Precor and Bodymasters on the selectorized side, and Booty Builder and Glute Builder for posterior chain work. There is also a custom Ryse branded press built for the club.
The practical result is redundancy. Every major muscle group has several machines that train it from different angles, so a busy hour does not derail your session and you are never forced into a substitution you did not plan. For free-weight work the dumbbells run to 180 lb per hand and the powerlifting zone handles the barbell lifts. Everything is available 24 hours a day.
