Boxing and Heavy Bag Area in Gurnee

A dedicated combat zone with a truss mounted heavy bag rig and room to move.

The boxing area is built around a truss mounted heavy bag rig, which is what makes the difference between a bag you can actually hit hard and one that swings the whole frame. Several bags hang from it, including an aqua bag, which moves differently and is easier on the hands and joints than a traditional filled bag.

The floor around the rig is kept clear for footwork, combinations and conditioning rounds. You do not need to box to get use out of it: bag work mixed with bodyweight movements is one of the better conditioning circuits in the building. The area is open 24 hours a day, and the indoor half court gives you more open floor if you want to add sled or agility work.
